Care Tips

Sunlight: Full sun (6+ hours). Thyme needs plenty of light. Tolerates Jamaica's sun well.
Watering: Light to moderate. Allow soil to dry between waterings. Thyme prefers slightly dry conditions—overwatering causes rot.
Soil: Well-draining, sandy or gritty soil. pH 6.0–8.0. Add sand or perlite for drainage. Avoid heavy clay.
Fertilizing: Minimal feeding. Top-dress with compost once a year. Too much fertilizer reduces flavour.
