Soil: Well-draining, slightly acidic (pH 5.0–5.5). Rich in organic matter. Avoid heavy clay or waterlogged sites.
Fertilizing: Young trees: balanced fertilizer 3–4 times per year. Fruiting trees: higher potassium before and during flowering. Avoid excess nitrogen.
Pruning: Light pruning after harvest. Remove dead wood. Shape when young. Avoid heavy pruning—reduces next crop.
